Today was little Hannah's first day to go to church while on the outside of mommy's tummy. Since she does better in the sling than in her car seat (and it's a whole lot easier to carry around), we held her in that for the morning and she slept right through it all. No problems or crying at all. Afterwards, Dana and I went to Bennigans and split a burger between us. Again, she slept through that, as well. Made us feel like perfect parents... until we got home and she hardly slept for the rest of the day. She slept pretty hard last night, though!
One of the high school students at our church made a highlight video of last week's baptismal service at our church -- my first time to baptize anyone. Good job with the video, Keegan!
Showing this in church on Sunday to highlight a couple things coming up in the life of our body as fall ministry gets ready to kick off soon.
For the first time, instead of standing up in front of church and giving announcements that are long, drawn-out, and that most people immediately forget, last week we did the church announcements by video. Hopefully it catches on because I think it communicates MUCH better than any other alternative.
