Almost to our one year anniversary of being DEBT FREE!

I follow the Dave Ramsey Show on twitter and earlier today they posted a link to an audio clip of Dave talking about debt and common sense. It's also a great summary of what Dave's ministry is all about.

Last Wednesday, November 9, was mine and Dana's one year anniversary of being DEBT FREE! I'll get the video posted of our debt free story a bit later today, proving that what he says in this audio clip is completely true.

[ EDIT: Oops, this is Septmeber, not November! Our 1 year anniversary is still coming up. Got my months mixed up! lol ]

My proposed to-do list for Labor Day

  • Change lots of diapers and take care of Hannah so Dana can rest (which is what I'm doing right now, actually).
  • Add two new free web designs to MinistryWebsites.biz for clients to choose from.
  • Make some follow-up phone calls with potential new youth leaders for this year. Our orientation/training meeting is this Wednesday! Yikes!
  • Go on a walk with Dana and Hannah at the park.
  • Shoot and edit the intro video for the Online Missions Trip.
  • Swing out on the hammock and start reading, "It: How churches and leaders can get it and keep it," by Craig Groeschel.
  • Do a video call with Hannah and the in-laws on Google Talk or Skype.
  • Beat Dana in air hockey!

My brother's photo shoot with Hannah

My brother, David Schmoyer, recently started a photography business and did a little photo shoot with Hannah at our house last weekend. Here are some of the pictures he took. Some are edited, some aren't. They probably would've been better if she wasn't crying the whole time. I guess my brother got a couple shots off in between screams. He did a good job with what little material Hannah was giving him.

Check out his photography site at ThinkDavid.com. He has a lot of nice work there of other family members.

And if you're in the area and want a solid, yet inexpensive photographer, contact him through his site. You won't find a better rate anywhere, especially since he'll actually give you a CD of all the original photographs for no additional charge.
