What I do on my day off
For being my day off today, it certianly doesn't look like it.
- Took care of Hannah so Dana can sleep.
- Changed plenty of diapers.
- Let Hannah sleep on my lap while I did much of this list.
- Published a blog post comparing Clover church websites to MinistryWebsites.biz.
- Hosted LIVE YM Talk with Tony Myles.
- Published the audio recording of the LIVE YM Talk on, "Transferring momentum from summer into the fall ministry."
- Lined up some more featured guests for future LIVE YM Talks.
- Work on putting together the next round of the YM Mentorship. Still need a sponsor to fund the required books for the mentees. Know of anyone?
- Searched for wireless microphones within a $200 budget for my video camera. Why are the mics that are in my price range made in 1994?! Seriously, VHF is the only wireless technology I can buy for that price?
- Setup a couple free website accounts at MinistryWebsites.biz and responded to a couple support tickets.
- Answered a question on MinistryQuestions.com about church websites.
- Tried uploading this week's church announcement video to Vimeo, but they're having issues that delays the audio from the video, so I put it on YouTube instead.
- Talked on the phone with a guy who I asked to consider being a small group leader this year for 7th grade guys. He declined. Doh!
- Reheated some old Pappa Murphy's pizza for lunch. (yum!)
- Created a page with advertising options for StudentMinistry.org.
- Watched the YouTube video I made that explains MinistryQuestions.com. It's been a while since I watched it last. It's better than I remember!
- Sent an invoice to a guy for some custom web design work I did for him. He already paid, I'm just tardy with administrative stuff like sending invoices. Ugh.
- Talked with my parents about their visit here next week.
- Spend time relaxing with my hot wife, Dana.
- Cooked the dinner break sticks a bit too long in the oven.
- And a lot of other random stuff, like a shower and writing this list!
